Changes to my study programme

Imagen
Hello! I am a second year psychology student at the Universidad de Chile.  I consider that the subjects I have had so far have been very important and necessary for the career. Therefore, I don't think that big changes should be made to the curriculum of the career, since I consider that the subjects are well distributed.  Even so, I believe that it would be convenient to have more opportunity to interact with people or to do mini internships that help in the formation. Because the professional internship is in the fifth year and for that there is still a long way to go, so it would be good to start little by little.  In addition, in FACSO there is a big problem with the "cfg" and "transversals" where more should be added so that students do not have to take them at the last minute, where the workload can be much higher and make the semester more stressful.  Regarding the workload, it is a very time-consuming career. Which sometimes becomes a little stifling bec...

Time travel to the future

Imagen
Hello! I actually consider either idea, of traveling to the past or the future, to be very risky and I would be afraid to perhaps "change" the present I have. So I would take a lot of precautions about it, and I wouldn't break any rules (not like Marty McFly).   But, by the same token, I think I'd like to travel into the future, maybe 20-25 years into the future. I would like to see how the world is doing, specifically San Antonio (my city) and Santiago, how different they are and what changes have taken place on a social level. But I would also like to know what I am doing with my life, to see if I am happy with the life I have. By traveling to the future and seeing all these things I feel that it could make one change a lot and be able to see different things. So if there is something I don't like in my future, I would like to be able to try to reverse it and make all my efforts in the present.  I wouldn't like to stay in the future, but I would just like t...

A job I would like to have in the future

Imagen
Hi! When I was little, my dream job growing up was to be a math teacher (I don't know why, I don't like math now). As I got older, I realized I wanted to have a job where I could help people. That's why my choice was psychology, because I would like to work with people and be able to help people in some way.  Well, I still don't know what I would like to work in when I finish my career, because I feel that there are so many possibilities that I would like to try everything. But still, I am very interested in child psychology or in the legal area. I find it very interesting to understand children and to be able to help them, because it is from these children that the person they will be in the future develops, so it is very important to make an early intervention, especially in children who may be in very difficult contexts. On the other hand, I am also interested in the legal area because I am very interested in the issue of people who arrive in the prison system in Chi...

The best holiday ever

Imagen
Hi!, the best vacation I have ever had was in February of this year. I traveled with the family on my dad's side to the south of Chile, to the Araucania and Los Rios regions. I was in very nice places like Panguipulli, Puerto Fuy, Licanray and others. I feel that it has been my best vacation because I relaxed a lot and enjoyed like never before, when traveling with the family on my dad's side I became much closer to some cousins and enjoyed a lot being with them, because we spent about three weeks together, where we went for walks, played board games at night and went out to see many parts of the surrounding area.  When we were in Panguipulli, I enjoyed a lot because we went camping and we had the lake in front of us. It was very cool because when you go camping you can disconnect more from everything and be more connected with your family and nature. I hope to go again one day!
