Changes to my study programme

Hello! I am a second year psychology student at the Universidad de Chile.

I consider that the subjects I have had so far have been very important and necessary for the career. Therefore, I don't think that big changes should be made to the curriculum of the career, since I consider that the subjects are well distributed.

Even so, I believe that it would be convenient to have more opportunity to interact with people or to do mini internships that help in the formation. Because the professional internship is in the fifth year and for that there is still a long way to go, so it would be good to start little by little.

In addition, in FACSO there is a big problem with the "cfg" and "transversals" where more should be added so that students do not have to take them at the last minute, where the workload can be much higher and make the semester more stressful.

Regarding the workload, it is a very time-consuming career. Which sometimes becomes a little stifling because you also want to have space to do other things that aren't  related to reading or studying. But even so, I think that if you put a lot of effort into it, you are likely to get good results.

Regarding the infrastructure of the university, I think that there are some things that need to be improved. One of the most important things is that there is no casino inside the faculty and there are very few places to eat and you have to be running to find a place, because it fills up at lunch time. Lately, though, more tables have been set up and that has helped to improve the situation.

  2. You are right about the CFG. ¿Have you been able to register in any cfg or sports courses?
